Venkat Prabhu shares a hot update on his next project! – ‘VP11’ aka ‘NC22’

Venkat Prabhu is a celebrated director who set a new benchmark for mainstream films in Tamil cinema. He recently made his directorial comeback with the trendsetting sci-fi film ‘Maanadu’. The filmmaker joined forces with Telugu star Naga Chaitanya for his next project.

The latest update is that the ‘NC22’ aka ‘VP11’ shooting is all set to commence tomorrow. Krithi Shetty will play the female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya. It is said to be a powerful cop movie and the team is aiming for an April 2023 release. Reportedly, this film will be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Director Venkat Prabhu shared the same with a stunning new poster on social media. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “With all ur love and blessings beginning my next #VP11 tomorrow with @chay_akkineni #NC22 @SS_Screens YES the shoot begins tomorrow” (sic).

In April, it was officially announced that the top Tollywood producers Srinivasaa Chitturi and Pavan Kumar teamed up with them for the upcoming film tentatively called ‘VP11’ aka ‘NC22’. Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be jointly composing the musical score.
