The shooting of Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ has been underway in Azerbaijan since last month. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, this film is touted to be a racy action thriller. The team plans to wrap up filming in Azerbaijan by the end of this month before moving on to the final leg of the shoot in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, director Venkat Prabhu revealed that he met with the ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ team, including Ajith and Trisha, in Baku, Azerbaijan yesterday. Rumours quickly spread that they discussed ‘Mankatha 2’ and that AK might play a cameo in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’. Although initially described as a brief meeting, Venkat Prabhu is now confirmed to have spent two days with the ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ team.

This has fueled speculations that Venkat Prabhu might be doing a cameo in ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ or potentially discussing a new movie with Ajith Kumar. Although unconfirmed, this news is spreading like wildfire on social media. Produced by Lyca Productions, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ is expected to hit the screens on Diwali 2024, with Anirudh composing the musical score for the film.
