The official teaser of 'Custody', director Venkat Prabhu's much-awaited film, just landed on the internet as announced earlier. Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty have headlined the lead roles in this bilingual flick. The 1.5-minute video sets up the world and gives a brief glimpse of its pivotal characters.

It is safe to say that Custody is a political thriller with a police constable as the protagonist. The teaser features a ton of stunning action blocks with Naga Chaitanya's monologue. Fans have noticed that the political party flag in Custody is the same as the one in Venkat Prabhu's last film 'Maanadu' and wonder if both films fall under the same universe.

Even, the teaser gives away some similarities between the core idea of Maanadu and Custody: standing by what is right and standing by the truth. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sharat Kumar, Sampath Raj, Premji Amaren, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath and many other notable actors.

Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja have jointly composed the musical score for Custody. The teaser has a very catchy background score with eye pleasing visuals by SR Kathir and exhilarating cuts by Venkat Raajen. The film is slated to have a grand theatrical release on May 12th.
