Actress Vedhika, who had entered Tamil films with movies like Muni, Kaalai etc, was last seen in Kollywood in Bala's Paradesi and Siddharth - Prithviraj starrer, Vasantha Balan's Kaaviya Thalaivan, and had been working on Kannada and Malayalam movies extensively.

Now the actress has bagged a Tamil - Telugu bilingual movie, which will co-star Tollywood hero Aadi Saikumar, and the yet to be titled project was launched today. Produced by Auraa cinemas, the movie will be directed by debutant Karthik Vignesh.

The cast and crew details of the movie will be announced soon, and the shoot is set to begin on March 25 at Talakona. Meanwhile, Vedhika will be seen in Tamil next in Raghava Lawrence directorial Muni 4/ Kanchana 3, and has also wrapped her Bollywood debut The Body directed by Jeetu Joseph.
