Surprising details about S.J. Suryah’s role in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’

Thalapathy Vijay recently returned to Chennai after yet another long shooting schedule for ‘Varisu’ in Hyderabad.  It is said that soon the team will be heading towards Vizag for a few action scenes.  Meanwhile we broke the news first to you that S.J. Suryah has joined the sets of the film and this is his fourth collaboration with Vijay after ‘Kushi’, ‘Nanban’ and ‘Mersal’.

The talk amongst sources close to the ‘Varisu’ team is that S.J. Suryah will appear at a very crucial juncture in the screenplay and will have a terrific interaction with Vijay that will be much talked about after the release.   The busy actor has reportedly given only two days call sheet for the cameo role but he will make a huge impact not only in the story but also on screen with his acting. There is also reports that talks were held with a few top heroes for the role but Vamshi finally decided that Suryah will be the one to do full justice to the role.  

‘Varisu’ is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju with Thaman scoring the music.  The ensemble cast includes Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu.  It has already been announced that the family action entertainer will release worldwide in Tamil and Telugu on Pongal 2023.
