Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who has been known for her unique choice of roles, was last seen in the snake thriller Neeyaa 2 starring Jai and Catherine Tresa, and is next acting in a number of movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam in lead roles as well as negative roles.
Now one of the long delayed movies of Varalaxmi is all set to release. Velvet Nagaram, which is directed by debutant Manoj Kumar Natarajan and starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead role has been announced as a March 6 release worldwide.
Produced by Makers Studio and D Pictures, Velvet Nagaram is said to be based on a real incidents that happened in Kodaikanal, and the movie also stars Ramesh Thilak in an important role, besides Kasthuri and Arjai. Velvet Nagaram has music by Achu Rajamani.
