Actress Aditi Balan had made her debut in Tamil in 2017, with the movie Aruvi which was directed by debutant Arun Prabhu Purushothaman and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The movie had been received well by critics and was also commercially successful.
After three years, it was announced recently that Aditi Balan had signed her second movie, and it was not a Tamil movie, but a Malayalam one. Titled Padavettu, Aditi Balan’s second movie as a lead is also her debut movie in Malayalam film industry.
Padavettu is directed by debutant Liju Krishna and has popular star Nivin Pauly playing the lead, and the movie is produced by actor Sunny Wayn. The latest update on Padavettu is that actress Manju Warrier who had recently made her Tamil debut with Asuran has joined the team, playing an important role.
