‘Valimai’ Trailer: Ajith’s actioner is electrifying!

“POWER IS A STATE OF MIND! Presenting the power-packed trailer of #Valimai (sic),” producer Boney Kapoor tweeted, unveiling the trailer for Tamil superstar Ajith’s ‘Valimai’. An action-packed mass masala flick, the film will hit the screens for Pongal next year.

The hero plays a cop who is principled and unforgiving of the enemies. We see ‘RX 100’ actor Kartikeya Gummakonda as the antagonist. If the protagonist is largely cool-headed, the villain can get onto his nerves.

Heavy action blocks seem to have been matched by smart dialogue-writing. Director H Vinoth has staged the larger-than-life stretches with conviction. A making video of the film was released recently and it had given a taste of what was to come in the trailer. The bike chase sequences will stand out, for all we know.

Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the stunts. Also starring Huma S Qureshi, Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, and Pugazh, the film is produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor.

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, its cinematography is by Nirav Shah. K Kadhir has done the action choreography. Editing is by Vijay Velukutty.
