Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' is now the most awaited film not only by fans but also the theater owners to give a much-needed boost to the business. Industry pundits have opined that after Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' which released on January 13th none of the other films have succeeded in attracting considerable audiences.

The major portions of 'Valimai' have already been shot with Thala Ajith allotting bulk dates after the long gap enforced by the COVID 19 pandemic. The team is planning to shoot the final schedule of the film in Spain and are likely to fly there soon after which it will be extensive postproduction and a mid-2021 release is eyed.

It has now come to light that director H. Vinod has already started editing 'Valimai' with Vijay Velukutty handling the cuts. The young editor's previous films inlcude 'Sangu Chakram' and Jyothika's 'Jackpot'.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod is produced by Boney Kapoor with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cast comprises of Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Yogi Babu and Pugazh.
