‘Vadhandhi’ Trailer: This new series looks gritty!

‘Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie’ is the title of a new web series offering from Amazon Prime Video. Its trailer was released today. Headlined by SJ Suryah, who is seen as an upright cop.

The male protagonist launches an investigation into the murder of a young girl named Velonie. There is an attempt by villainous forces to defame the victim post her death.

Also starring Sanjana, Laila (seen recently in Karthi’s ‘Sardar’), Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat, and Kumaran Thangarajan, this one is directed and created by Andrew Louis.

With the cinematography by Saravanan Ramasamy, the series has music by Simon K King. Edited by Richard Kevin A, its production design is by Arun Venjaramoodu. Costume design is by Subhashree Kaarthik Vijay. The stunts have been done by Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan.

Produced by Pushkar & Gayatri of ‘Vikram Vedha’ fame, the series will stream from December 2 in Telugu and other languages.
