A 'Master' full surprise came out of the blue for Thalapathy Vijay fans as 'Vaathi Raid' the third single from the upcoming mega movie landed on Saturday ahead of the grand audio launch today at the Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai.  The closed-door event due to the coronavirus threat will be telecast live on Sun TV from 6.30 pm onwards.

'Vaathi Raid' written and sung by Arivu and youth icon Anirudh the music director of 'Master' comes across as a triumphant mass shout back to the Vijay detractors especially after the Income-tax raids that stopped his shooting in Neyveli and the thirty-five-hour inquiry in Chennai.  The IT has since given the much-loved star a clean chit.  The rap and heavy metal fusion style is sure to catch up with the young crowd and the recent records of 'Kutty Story' and 'Vaathi Coming' set on YouTube will be under threat as well.

'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi locking horns as the hero and villain with Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Arjun Das and Shantanu Bhagyaraj among the ensemble cast.  The film's release is planned for April 9th by Seven Screen Studios and XB Film Creators.
