Ustaad Bhagat Singh Day 2: No Major Jump at Box Office

Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is struggling to gain momentum at the box office, with Day 2 numbers reflecting a steady but underwhelming trend after its opening.
The film had posted a decent ₹48 crore worldwide on Day 1, but failed to capitalize on that start. On its second day, growth remained minimal, indicating a lack of strong word-of-mouth push.
Trade estimates suggest the film collected around ₹10.40 crore in India on Day 2, with overseas numbers contributing roughly ₹70 lakh from North America. This puts the worldwide Day 2 total close to ₹12 crore—far from the jump typically expected over the opening weekend.
While Andhra Pradesh continues to offer some support, the film is clearly underperforming in Telangana and overseas circuits. The biggest challenge, however, is the overwhelming dominance of Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), which has captured audience attention across markets.

In North America, the contrast is stark. Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed the $7 million mark within just two days, leaving Ustaad Bhagat Singh with limited visibility and reduced footfalls.
Directed by Harish Shankar and featuring Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna, the film was expected to deliver stronger numbers. However, mixed audience response and intense competition are now proving to be major roadblocks in its box office journey.
At this stage, all eyes are on the weekend performance to see whether the film can recover or continue its muted run.
