US Consulate in Hyderabad cancels Visa services

In keeping with the COVID-19 conditions, the US Consulate General in Hyderabad has announced the cancellation of all routine visa services at from May 3. This is indefinitely.

The processing of all routine non-immigrant visa interview appointments and interview waiver appointments too stand cancelled. “All routine American Citizen Services appointments are cancelled from April 27 until further notice,” the Consulate said in a statement on Tuesday. 

As for Emergency American Citizen Services and visa appointments, they will be in operation but will be sensitive to the local conditions, the Consulate added.

The statement added that the Consulate will make every attempt to honor scheduled emergency appointments during the cancellation phase.
