‘Uppena’ song becomes a rollicking hit

Devi Sri Prasad has registered one more blockbuster song.  ‘Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram’ from ‘Uppena’ has garnered 10 million views, raising curiosity around debutant Mega hero Vaisshnav Tej’s rom-com.  

“The song comes in the form of a Qawwali and was shot on Vaissnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in a soothing way.  Rendered by the talented Javed Ali and Srikanth Chandra, its lyrics are by Raqueeb Alam (Hindi) and Shreemani (Telugu).  We are glad that the song has become such a big hit,” a note from the makers says.  They are gearing up to release the film’s second song very soon.

As is known, Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi has an important role in this Buchi Babu Sana directorial.  Cinematography is by Shamdat Sainudeen of this Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings production.  

The film will hit the screens on April 2.
