Unique publicity: 100 idols of NTR in 100 theatres

‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’ is slated for a grand theatrical release on January 9.  Ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers of the biopic have come up with a unique marketing idea.

One hundred idols of the legendary NT Rama Rao will be installed in 100 select theatres in AP and TS for public viewing.  The film’s lead pair, Balakrishna and Vidya Balan, are tomorrow going to unveil the first idol in Tirupathi’s PJR theatre.

It’s also learned that the lead pair, Krish Jagarlamudi, Nandamuri Kalyanram (playing Harikrishna) and Sumanth (playing ANR) are today touring and tomorrow Nimmakuru, Bengaluru and Tirupathi.   A chartered flight has been drafted for the purpose.

The director and his important members of the cast will interact with the media tomorrow.
