The much-anticipated film ‘Thug Life’, starring the legendary Kamal Haasan and directed by iconic filmmaker Mani Ratnam, has officially completed its shooting. After several months of intense production, the movie is now moving into its post-production phase, with visual effects work slated to begin soon.
‘Thug Life’ is expected to hit theatres during the summer holidays next year, generating excitement among fans. In a major development, industry sources have revealed that the film’s digital rights have been sold for a staggering ?150 crore to a leading platform. If confirmed, this will make ‘Thug Life’ the highest-priced digital rights acquisition in Tamil cinema history.
The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Silambarasan, Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Vaiyapuri. With a musical score composed by A.R. Rahman, cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran, and editing by Sreekar Prasad, ‘Thug Life’ is being produced in collaboration by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
