Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Suriya’s films to clash on the same day?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Suriya are great actors from two different eras of Kollywood. The two recently shared the screen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’ and will be teaming up again in LCU. Meanwhile, the latest news in the tinsel town is that Kamal and Suriya’s upcoming films will be clashing at the box office.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be next seen in ‘Indian 2’, the sequel of his 1996 vigilante blockbuster, directed by Shankar while Suriya’s next is the magnum opus ‘Kanguva’ directed by Siruthai Siva. Now, the latest hot news is that both films are aiming for a grand release on the same day in 2024. There is no official confirmation in this regard and we have to wait for an update.

In April 2024, Ramzan is falling on the 11th (Thursday) and Tamil New Year is falling on 14th (Sunday) with a possible general holiday on Monday. It is reported that the makers are planning to release their films on the long weekend. Both ‘Kanguva’ and ‘Indian 2’ are expected to release on April 11th.
