Chandra Mohan is a veteran legendary actor who primarily worked in Telugu cinema and has also done a few Tamil films. Now, he passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Saturday morning in Hyderabad. Reportedly, he was admitted and was treated for multiple ailments in Apollo Hospital.
Chandra Mohan played Puratchi Thalaivar MGR’s brother in the 1974 movie, ‘Naalai Namadhe’. He also shared the screen with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in ‘Neeya’ (1978) and Karthi in ‘Saguni’ (2011). He has acted in over 900 films and is often referred to as one of the most versatile artists of the Tollywood industry.
Chandra Mohan was aged 82 when he breathed his last. Family members said the last rites of the late actor will be performed on Monday. The entire Telugu film industry is mourning his death now who was celebrated as a hero, comedian and character actor.
