It is already known that Udhayanidhi Stalin is currently shooting for his next with director Mari Selvaraj, which is titled 'Maamannan'. The movie will star Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu, Keerthy Suresh and Fahad Faasil in major roles with the musical score composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman.

The makers completed a couple of major schedules a few months ago. The latest development we hear is that Udhayanidhi Stalin resumed the shooting for 'Maamannan' yesterday and the film's final schedule is underway in Chennai. Udhay shared a BTS-making picture from the sets to update the fans about the project's progress.

In the photo, Udhayanidhi is spotted having a happy time with Mari Selvaraj as he is posing with a fake gun pointing at his director. The smile on his face explains their chemistry. The current and final schedule of 'Maamannan' reportedly has all the main stars in the cast. Touted to be a social drama, Udhayanidhi will be seen in a socially responsible role.

On the work front, Udhayanidhi has the thriller 'Kalaga Thalaivan' with director Magizh Thirumeni in the lineup. An official announcement was recently made regarding Udhayanidhi Stalin's upcoming project with Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. 'Nenjukku Needhi' director Arunraja Kamaraj is expected to direct Udhay's venture with RKFI.
