Trailer Review: ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam’

For a film titled as 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam', 'Ammayilu manasshanthiki hanikaram' (Girls are injurious to peace of mind) comes as an out-of-the-blue phrase.  

The lover boy (Naga Chaitanya) is faced with a charmingly innocent girl Brahmaramba (Rakul Preet Singh), who might have traces of Genelia's character from 'Bommarillu' and a bit of Avika Gor  from 'Uyyala Jampala'.  She expects her man to give his time, can't take it when he ignores her calls (however busy he might be), so on and so forth.  All the while, the boy takes her every-day 'avatars' in his stride.  

But then, that's not all.  The past is the bigger problem.  Sampath (the girl's father) and Jagapathi Babu (as the hero's father) seem to come with a history of conflict.  

Kalyan Krishna, who got Nagarjuna pull off two different shades with panache in 'Soggade Chinni Nayana', is expected to have extracted the best out of Naga Chaitanya and Rakul.  We are going to see a new Chay and Rakul.  

If Vennela Kishore's comedy is to be contemporaneous, Posani Krishna Murali may be there to present a rural-flavoured comedy.  

Get ready for the 'veduka' on May 26.
