Top Bollywood star to reunite with Superstar Rajinikanth after 30 years in ‘Jailer’? – Hot update

‘Jailer’ marks the highly anticipated 169th film of Superstar Rajinikanth. The film’s director Nelson Dilipkumar is working hard to regain his glory after the letdown, ‘Beast’. Produced by Sun Pictures, the mega multistarrer has music by Anirudh. The makers have been showering updates on fans regarding the movie’s star cast every week.

A glimpse video was released by the crew earlier which was loved by the fans. We all know that a big star from each film industry has boarded this film to play key roles. The production house officially announced that Shiva Rajkumar from Sandalwood, Mohanlal from Mollywood and Sunil from Tollywood will share screen space with Thalaivar in Jailer. Meanwhile, we already updated you that the team is in talks with top Bollywood actors to rope in them for the upcoming crime comedy outing.

Now, the latest hot update is that veteran Hindi star Jackie Shroff has joined the star cast of Jailer. He started shooting for the movie in Jodhpur, reportedly. The Bollywood actor confirmed the same recently. If Jackie comes on board, it will be his reunion with Rajinikanth after three decades. The two had previously worked together in Hindi film, ‘Uttar Dakshin’.

On the other hand, Jailer additionally stars Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon and dancer Ramesh in pivotal characters. The technical team includes Vijay Kartik Kannan as the cinematographer and Nirmal as the editor. As per sources, the crew is aiming for a grand release on 11 August 2023.
