The doctors at Bengaluru’s Narayana Hrudayalaya today said that Nandamuri Taraka Ratna’s condition remains critical. “He is in a critical state on maximal support,” the doctors said. The actor suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday noon. He was resuscitated by doctors at a hospital in Kuppam after 45 minutes.
The actor is under the care of a multi-disciplinary clinical team currently in the multi-specialty hospital. Not only cardiologists but also intensivists and other specialists are treating him.
“He will continue to be under rigorous evaluation and treatment in the coming days. Higher level diagnostics were conducted and it was found out on Saturday that his condition is critical due to the cardiogenic shock after the Myocardial Infraction he suffered on Friday,” the doctors said.
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Vasoactive support have been prescripted.
Meanwhile, the members of the Nandamuri family are taking to social media to wish Taraka Ratna a speedy recovery. Balakrishna has been by the side of the actor.
