R Sarathkumar calls on BRS leader K Kavitha

Tamil actor-politician R Sarathkumar, who is familiar to the Telugu audience because of movies like Chiranjeevi’s ‘Gang Leader’, is in the news for calling on TRS leader and MLC K Kavitha. The ‘Ponniyin Selvan I’ actor is the leader of the Social Justice People’s Party.

Kavitha, who is now aiming at national ambitions under the umbrella of BRS (previously known as the TRS), welcomed Sarathkumar. 

As per reports, it was a courtesy call. The duo discussed national politics and other issues. Kavitha briefed Sarathkumar about BRS’ motto, agenda and other political talking points. 

Will there be an alliance between Sarathkumar’s party and BRS? Nothing is known as of now. There seems to be an overlap of vision and policy-based ideology between the two parties. 

BRS is closely following the political developments across the country. It is likely to be seen favourably by parties such as CPM, RJD, SP and DMK.
