The much-awaited film starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamita Baju has officially been titled Dude. Along with the title, the makers have also unveiled the first look poster and confirmed the film’s release date — this Diwali.
Pradeep Ranganathan, who began his journey as a director with the hit film Comali starring Jayam Ravi, gained massive popularity after starring in the blockbuster Love Today. His latest outing Dragon also emerged as a commercial success.
Now, his fourth film, directed by Keertheswaran — a former assistant of acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara — is being produced by the reputed Mythri Movie Makers. The film features Mamita Baju as the female lead.
The newly released first look poster features Pradeep in a striking pose, wearing a yellow talisman, giving fans a glimpse of the film’s quirky and youthful vibe. The poster has quickly caught attention online.
Veteran actor Sarathkumar plays a pivotal role in the film, while music is composed by Sai Abhinayakar. Titled Dude, the film is set to release in four languages — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada — marking a major pan-India move for Pradeep.
With strong buzz and a Diwali release lined up, Dude is expected to continue Pradeep Ranganathan’s winning streak at the box office.
