Ajith starrer ‘Thunivu’ and Vijay starrer ‘Warisu’ are two movies that will hit the theatres tomorrow. There are reports that both films have been given almost equal number of theatres in Tamil Nadu. While Ajith’s film will have its first show at 1 am, Vijay’s film’s first show is at 4 am in Chennai. Tamil movies apart from releasing in the state, also release overseas and even in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
According to reports, the theatre on the island has three screens and they had split one screen for each movie – ‘Thunivu’ and ‘Varisu’ and to decide the movie that will be played on the third theatre screen, the theatre association decided to flip a coin. Thunivu has won the toss and will be screened in the third theatre.
It is noteworthy that out of the 3 theatres in Andaman, the movie ‘Thunivu’ is going to be released in two theatres and the movie ‘Varisu’ will only get one screen in Andaman. Videos about this are going viral on websites.
