Come Feb 19, three films will hit the marquee. One is a family entertainer with trappings of rom-comish doses. Another is a feel good, coming-of-age rom-com. Yet another is a dubbed mystery film.

Of all the three, Krishnashtami is the biggest release. Coming as it does from an ace production house with a stellar reputation for churning uncompromising, promising entertainment, the expectations are naturally high. The director, Vasu Varma, has been known as a good writer and so, you can expect a nice family entertainer. For Vasu Varma, this is the second directorial since Josh.

Meeku Meere Maaku Meme marks the debut of Hussain Kiran Shah. Starring Tarun Shetty and Avantika Mishra in lead roles, this film is a "story of love after love". In the makers' own words, it tells how to keep the romance alive. "The consequences that happen after one falls in love are clearly delineated," the director has said.

Malupu is the dubbed version of the Tamil film Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakk, described as a coming-of-age mystery film and has been directed by his brother. This seems to be a promising entertainer and the film stars Nikki Galrani, Richa Pallod, Mithun Chakraborty, Nassar, and Pasupathy in important roles.
