M Manikandan is a two-time National Award-winning director, whose works are highly acclaimed in the film industry. We already brought to you that a robbery was reported in his house in Usilampattai a few days ago. As per the police reports, one lakh cash and a few sovereigns of gold were missing.
The latest is that the thieves had also taken Manikandan's National Award in this robbery. In a surprising turn of events, the thieves put back the National Award at the entrance of Manikandan's house last night with an apology letter. The letter read, "Forgive us sir. Your hardwork belongs to you." However, the cash and jewels were not returned by the thieves.
This incident is now spreading like wildfire on the internet. Still, the cops are investigating the whereabouts of the thieves and stolen items as they remain a mystery. Fans are saying that the humble hearted thief could have returned the cash and jewels as well because they are also the director's hardwork.
