‘The Paradise’ Will Showcase Nani in His Most Intense Action Avatar: Ram-Lakshman

Natural Star Nani’s much-awaited Pan-India period action entertainer ‘The Paradise’ is generating huge anticipation ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on September 24. Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the film has already created strong buzz with its songs, glimpse and teaser.

Ahead of the release, renowned fight choreographers Ram-Lakshman interacted with the media and shared several interesting details about the film’s action sequences, Nani’s character and the scale of the project.

Multiple Fight Masters Worked on ‘The Paradise’

Ram-Lakshman revealed that they worked on the film along with Navakanth and Real Satish. The duo choreographed two major action blocks for the movie.

According to them, the action sequences in The Paradise will be on a much larger scale than what audiences have seen in Nani’s previous films.

Nani’s Character Will Be Completely New

Speaking about Nani’s character, Ram-Lakshman said that the actor will be seen in a completely new avatar. Director Srikanth Odela designed the character in a unique manner, including a distinctive look with two braids.

They revealed that they had never seen a hero with such a look on Indian screen before and said Nani was determined to give audiences something fresh and different.

Three Times More Action Than ‘Dasara’

The fight masters revealed that Nani has performed action on this scale for the first time in his career. The film features several heavy-duty action sequences and, according to them, the amount of action will be three times more than ‘Dasara’.

They also explained that performing action with long braids was particularly challenging. The braids could hit the ropes and Nani’s face during action scenes, making the sequences more complicated. To understand the difficulties involved, even one of their assistants was made to wear similar braids before they designed the action.

Nani Put in Tremendous Hard Work

Ram-Lakshman praised Nani’s dedication, saying that the actor worked harder for The Paradise than ever before in his career. He was willing to perform multiple takes until the desired output was achieved.

They admitted that they had not expected Nani to put in such an extraordinary level of effort and said he gave his 100 percent to the project.

The film also features several bare-body action sequences, which required Nani to undergo intense physical preparation, including bodybuilding and maintaining a strict diet. They added that Srikanth Odela does not compromise on his vision and that Nani did complete justice to the director’s expectations.

Ten Days to Complete the Action Blocks

Ram-Lakshman revealed that it took approximately 10 days to complete their action blocks. They said the film features new characters and an entirely different body language, requiring considerable preparation and care.

According to the duo, the story itself naturally demands intense action, with the characters finding themselves in situations where fighting becomes unavoidable.

The fight choreographers also revealed that some of the action sequences involve significant risks. During the shoot, one member of the unit reportedly suffered an injury.

Mohan Babu in a New Avatar

Speaking about Mohan Babu, Ram-Lakshman said that the veteran actor will also be seen in a completely different avatar in The Paradise. Despite having acted in numerous films, he will appear in a fresh and distinctive role, which also includes action sequences.

‘Competition Brings Out Creativity’

Asked whether they feel competitive when new fight choreographers enter the industry, Ram-Lakshman said competition helps improve creativity. It motivates them to constantly explore new ways of presenting action.

They added that they continue to work on every project with the fear, dedication and concentration of fight masters working on their very first film.

Srikanth Odela Has Created a New World

Ram-Lakshman also praised the technical team, stating that director Srikanth Odela has created an entirely new world for The Paradise. Cinematographer Sai has captured the world beautifully, while the film features unique locations and equipment.

They also praised Anirudh Ravichander’s music, which has already become a major talking point.

The duo revealed that their son has also worked on The Paradise and has a strong understanding of films across multiple languages.

Sudhakar Cherukuri Backed the Film on a Grand Scale

Ram-Lakshman praised producer Sudhakar Cherukuri for making the film on a lavish scale without compromising on the production. They said the producer placed complete faith in Nani and Srikanth Odela and supported their vision throughout the making of the film.

With its massive scale, intense action and Nani in a never-before-seen avatar, ‘The Paradise’ is now gearing up for its grand worldwide theatrical release on September 24.
