The Goat second poster: Thalapathy Vijay on Full Fire

A day after the revelation of the first look poster and the intriguing title “The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT),” the anticipation for “Thalapathy” Vijay’s upcoming movie has reached new heights with the release of another captivating poster.

In this latest visual spectacle, two Vijays command attention as they ride a motorcycle, unabashedly firing guns at their adversaries. The older Vijay, steering the bike, exudes a mature and resolute demeanor, while the younger one in the pillion seat appears almost computer-generated, sparking speculation that “The GOAT” might delve into the realm of sci-fi. The poster’s distinctive setting, straying from conventional surroundings, reinforces this futuristic inclination. Amidst the action, the seasoned Vijay brandishes a pistol, while the youthful counterpart locks eyes with the camera, unleashing a spray of bullets from a machine gun.

Earlier glimpses from the film’s sets, shared by Venkat Prabhu, hinted at the use of Light Stage technology, a significant source of excitement among fans. This technology facilitates the capture of digital images, contributing to the creation of a 3D version of the subject, possibly enhancing the film with innovative visual effects. While the purpose behind incorporating this cutting-edge technology remains undisclosed, Venkat Prabhu’s caption, “Welcome to the future,” only intensifies the intrigue surrounding this ambitious project.

The initial poster, showcasing two Vijays in skydiving suits walking along a runway, hinted at the potential portrayal of a dual role in the film.Originally titled Thalapathy 68, “The Greatest of All Time” is under the capable direction of Venkat Prabhu, renowned for his superhits like Mankatha, Goa, Saroja, Chennai 600028, and Maanaadu. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Meenakshi Chaudhry, Laila, Sneha, and Jayaram in pivotal roles. The music for the film is entrusted to the talented Yuvan Shankar Raja. Initially announced in May 2023, eager fans can anticipate the cinematic marvel gracing theaters this year.

Vijay’s previous film, Leo, etched its name in history with unparalleled success, emerging as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023 and the fifth highest-grossing Indian movie of the same year, amassing a staggering Rs 612 crore worldwide. The stage is set for “The Greatest of All Time” to continue the legacy of Vijay’s cinematic triumphs.
