Thalapathy Vijay's 'Thalapathy 68' is one of the most awaited films. It is said to be a sci-fi action entertainer helmed by the ace director Venkat Prabhu. There was a strong buzz earlier that the title of 'Thalapathy 68' will be unveiled with first-look and second-look posters on New Year.

But the title and first-look reveal are likely to be pushed now owing to the demise of Captain Vijayakanth. The veteran actor-politician passed away on Thursday in Chennai. Thalapathy Vijay came in person and paid tear-filled last respects on the night of his death. Reports suggest that the Thalapathy 68 update is postponed in respect to Vijayakanth.

The team might officially announce the title with posters on Pongal 2024. However, there is no official word regarding this. We have to wait and see what the movie team has decided. The film features an ensemble cast of Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal and many others.

Thalapathy 68, produced by AGS Entertainment, has music composed by the little maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography and editing are handled by Siddhartha Nuni and Venkat Raajen respectively.
