Thalapathy Vijay is among the very few Indian actors who always top the trending charts. His next bilingual film 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally is gearing up for a Pongal 2023 release. The 'Ghilli' actor and Rashmika Mandanna are currently filming for the final schedule of the movie.

We already broke to you that the makers have planned to complete the entire shooting by October 27. According to the latest reports, the post-production works for 'Varisu' commenced parallelly and the team began the dubbing works. With music composed by Thaman, the 'Varisu' first single will be released on Diwali.

Vijay films' audio launch events and his off-screen speeches are special. While the actor's previous film 'Beast' didn't have an audio launch, we now hear that 'Varisu' will have a music release function. Reportedly, the production house Sri Venkateswara Creations started planning for a lavish audio launch ceremony to be held in November or December.

On the work front, Vijay will team up with the 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj after 'Varisu' for the upcoming project tentatively called 'Thalapathy 67'. Trisha is expected to pair up with Vijay after more than a decade in this film. The official announcement regarding this movie is most likely to arrive on October 23 (Diwali eve).
