The past couple of weeks the news that Thalapathy Vijay is planning to take a break from film acting to pursue politics has been doing the rounds. Accordingly after Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' , the superstar will act in 'Thalapathy 68' directed by Venkat Prabhu and take a three year break to concentrate on the TN Assembly Elections in 2024.
Today, Vijay had a meeting with his Vijay Makkal Iyakkam leaders from all the 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. The meeting was held at the organization office in Panaiyur in Chennai this afternoon. Post the meeting functionaries of the outfit spoke to news persons. "Vijay said in the meeting that when the time comes for him to enter politics he will quit films and will fully engage in politics to serve the people who place trust in him" said one of the VMI members.
The same person also added that all the infrastructures necessary for Vijay's political entry has already been created and whenever he gives the signal Vijay fans will set the ball in motion. The person also gave a bit of a shock to newspersons by expressing confidence that both Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar fans will support Vijay fans when he makes his political foray. it is well known that social media always witnesses fierce fighting between Vijay fans pitted against the combined might of Ajith and Rajini fans.
