The shooting of Vijay's upcoming film Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was wrapped up a couple of days ago, and fans of the actor are looking forward to the audio launch event and the teaser/trailer release of the movie.

The audience will be witnessing the presence of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi on screen for the first time ever and the hype surrounding the same has been massive. Vijay Sethupathi received widespread acclaim for the portrayal of the antagonist Vedha in the 2017 blockbuster Vikram Vedha and the third look poster of Master has created similar vibes. During a recent cultural fest event at a college in Tamil Nadu, director Lokesh opened up on the scenes involving Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. According to a report, Lokesh claimed that those scenes will be like fire. Although he didn't reveal much, the detail is more than sufficient to get the fans excited.

Malavika Mohanan has signed up to play the female lead in Master, while 'Kaithi' star Arjun Das, Andrea, and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj are also playing significant roles in the film. Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, Master will have music composed by Anirudh. Touted to be an action-thriller, the movie is slated to release worldwide in April 2020.
