Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' which released on January 13 as a Pongal festive release has opened to massive positive response from audience and has made theatres and film industry people happy, after a break due to the pandemic.

Even as the pandemic is existing still, Master has shaken the worldwide box office and we have got the approximate figures for the ten days run. It is reported that the collections now stand at rupees 205 Crores out of which Tamil Nadu alone has contributed 105 Crores.

Master's first ten days collections break up is 45 Cr. from overseas, 11 Cr. from Kerala, Karnataka 16 Cr., Andhra - 24 Cr., North India 4 Cr and City contributing 8 crores. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by XB Film Creators, Master stars Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu, Gouri G Kishan, and has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Sathyan Sooriyan.
