Veteran comedian reunites with Thalapathy Vijay after a long time in ‘Leo’

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for a release on this October 19th.  The much anticipated gangster flick has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt,  Arjun Sarja, Joju George, Kathir, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mathew Thomas among others.

Now the cast has got bigger as veteran comedy actor Vaiyapuri has landed a role in ‘Leo’ and a pic of him with director Lokesh Kanagaraj from the sets has gone viral.  Vaiyapuri first acted in ‘Love Today’ with Vijay in 1997 and continued to be a part of several of his super hit films such as ‘Thullatha Manamum Thullum’, ‘Priyamanavale’, ‘Thirupaachi’, ‘Sachin’, ‘Sivakasi’, ‘Pokkiri’, ‘Villu’, ‘Sura’ and ‘Kavalan.’  His reunion with the superstar after so many years has caused a sensation in Kollywood.

Vaiyapuri after a hiatus came back into the limelight by participating in ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ season one hosted by Kamal Haasan.  He was recently seen in a pivotal role in the critically acclaimed ‘Thalaikoothal’ starring Samuthirakani and Vasudhra Kashyap.  

Meanwhile, the first single ‘Na Redi’  from ‘Leo’ will be released on June 22, 2023, on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday. The Thalapathy fans are already in celebration mode to make it the grandest b’day for thier icon and trend number one on social media platforms.
