Another big record break by ‘Thalapathy 68’ even before shooting commencement

Last week the shooting of ‘Leo’ starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was completed and the postproduction work commenced.  The film is slated for release on October 19th and the promotional activities are expected to start in the coming months.

Vijay after a few weeks of rest will join the sets of his next Thalapathy 68′ directed by Venkat Prabhu.  The project already has created records as Vijay has been paid a whopping rupees two hundred crores remuneration by AGS Productions making him India’s highest paid actor.  Now another record has been created which is tha the audio rights for the film has been bagged by a top music company for over rupees twenty six crores.

The main reason for this is that Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for a Vijay film after neary two decades and hence the expectations have risen sky high. It is said that Venkat Prabhu has completed the scripting and has started the process of casting and other preproduction activities from a new office in T. Nagar, Chennai.

The fact that Vijay’s new movie is creating records even before a single shot being canned has created a sensation not only in Kollywood but in the entire Indian film industry trade circles.
