Lokesh Kanagaraj has created a sensation like no other filmmaker in Tamil cinema in the recent past. His 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil has not only broken all commercial records in history in the state but has also done the same in the streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar. This is one film that both the critics and the audiences unanimously praised in recent memory as well.

Now all eyes are on Lokesh's next which as every cinema lover already knows is 'Thalapathy 67' starring Thalapathy Vijay. So far it is more or less confirmed that Seven Screen Studios which co-produced the duo's 'Master' is bankrolling the project and Anirudh is scoring the music.

Meanwhile Lokesh Kanagaraj has let out on Twitter that he will be away from all social media platforms for sometime and will return with the announcement of his next film. He wrote "Hey guys I'm taking a small break from all social media platforms... I'll be back soon with my next film's announcement...Till then do take care all of you..With love...Lokesh Kanagaraj". A couple of days back he revealed that he has started the scripting for the film ten days back which suggests that he will be totally focussed on completing it.

We already informed you from our sources that the production house is planning to announce 'Thalapathy 67' on August 24th the same day that 'Master' was announced in 2019. If that is the case then Loki will be back interacting with his fans on social media in another three weeks time. Stay tuned.
