Amid the 'Beast' hype, 'Thalapathy 66' is already gaining momentum as the makers announced Vijay's heroine in the film officially. Now, the team has revealed the music composer with a special poster on social media. Ever since the first announcement of the project arrived, we have been reporting that Thaman S will be scoring music for Vijay's 66th film.

Sri Venkateswara Creations took to their social media handles to announce the same, as we reported earlier. Thaman has always been a great fan of Thalapathy Vijay and expressed in interviews that it is his dream to score music for his idol. Today, Thaman shared the happy news with the fans and penned a cheerful note marking the occasion.

Thaman wrote, "My longgestttttt Wait !! For Our Dearest @actorvijay Anna Has finally Come True. It’s A great Feeling to be On Board for #Thalapathy66 along with dear @directorvamshi @SVC_official #DilRaju For Me it’s Going to be 6-6-6-6-6-6 !! Musical Fireworks All Over" (sic).

The national crush Rashmika Mandanna is paired opposite Vijay in 'Thalapathy 66', directed by Vamshi Piadipally and produced by Dil Raju. The actor is said to be playing dual roles in this movie. The shooting of this Tamil-Telugu bilingual project is set to kickstart this week. The official title will be out soon.
