Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi as the villain is the most awaited film of the year without any doubt. But the coronavirus has forced the release of the film to be held only in early 2021 or so,
Meanwhile there has been a major change in Vijay's next film 'Thalapathy 65' which was to had A.R. Murugadoss as director and Sun Pictures as the producer. A few days earlier it was reported that the director and producer had a fallout due to creative differences and Murugadoss has opted out of the project.
It was then reported that Perarasu who gave two blockbuster hits 'Thirupaachi' and 'Sivakasi' has been brought on board as director for 'Thalapthy 65'. Now another buzz is going around in Kollywood that there is going to be a change in the producer of the film too.
It is said that a few months back itself Vijay had confirmed 'Thalapathy 66' for 'Mersal' producers Sri Thenandal Studios and Perarasu's story was much liked by all parties concerned. Now it is said that Vijay is contemplating to do the Perarasu-Thenandal project as his 65th film.
In that case 'Thalapathy 66' will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures according to the same sources. At this point of time all these are hearsay and nothing is confirmed until the official announcement comes.
