Thala Ajith recently had a release with Ner Konda Paarvai, the official Tamil remake of Hindi hit Pink. Directed by H Vinoth, the movie which also stars Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang and Vidya Balan released on August 8, and is running successfully.

With positive reviews and collections, the movie has turned out to be the second consecutive box office success for Thala Ajith after his big hit Viswasam released earlier this year on eve of Pongal festival. While it has been said that Ner Konda Paarvai has grossed more than 100 crores, there is another record Ajith has achieved with this one.

Ner Konda Paarvai has reportedly gone past the 10 crores gross mark in Chennai city box office, and this makes it a hat-trick for Ajith after achieving 10 crores gross with his previous releases Viswasam and Vivegam in Chennai. Other than Ajith, Vijay has 3 movies, Theri, Sarkar and Mersal, and Superstar Rajnikanth has 5 movies Endhiran, Kaala, Kabali, 2.0 and Petta in the 10 crores club in Chennai box office.
