Four hot young directors compete for ‘Thala 61’

Thala Ajith has given a huge boost to Kollywood this year in terms of gigantic box office revenues and choice of solid content with the blockbusters ‘Viswasam’ and ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’.  He is in prep mode hitting the gym to chisel up for ‘Thala 60’ directed by H. Vinod in which he is reportedly playing a super cop.

Kollywood insiders reveal that Ajith has listened to scripts from four hot young directors who have delivered hits with different subject matters.  The lucky ones are ‘Vikram Vedha’ fame Pushkar Gayatri, Magiz Thirumeni (‘Thadam’), Karthik Naren (‘Dhruvangal Pathinaaru’) and Ashwin Saravanan (‘Maaya’ and ‘Game Over’).  We will have to wait atleast till mid 2020 to know which one of these exciting talents will helm ‘Thala 61’.
