Tamil cinema’s first out and out spoof film ‘Tamizh Padam’ was released in 2010 directed by debutante C.S. Amudhan, produced by debutante Sashikanth and starring the Agila Ulaga Superstar Shiva. Today all three names are huge in Tamil cinema and the trio once again tasted blockbuster success with the sequel ‘Tamizh Padam 2’ released in 2018.
Y Not Studios head honcho Sashikanth has given a huge surprise to fans by releasing an unreleased first look poster of ‘Tamizh Padam’ which is LOL material to say the least. The team has spoofed Suriya’s ‘Singam’ series directed by Hari which title logo consisted of the roaring lion and only this time the lion is hiding its face behind its paw.
Sashikanth has captioned the pic “Just to bust a little stress One of the first concept poster and title design we developed for #TP2.0 – TamizhPolice / Police Adhyayam We never used it then. The poster only wants us to ask a loud question “When is Tamizh Padam 3 arriving”?
