The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have finally unveiled the official music video of “Tabaahi”, the film’s first song, following its tremendous response after the audio release. Released in collaboration with Zee Music Company, the visually stunning track offers audiences their first immersive glimpse into one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year.
Featuring Rocking Star Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Tabaahi showcases the duo’s fresh on-screen pairing and explores an intense love story through their compelling chemistry and emotional performances. Set against a grand cinematic backdrop, the song combines breathtaking visuals, evocative storytelling, electrifying guitar arrangements, and a powerful orchestral score, making it a memorable introduction to the mysterious world of Toxic.
Ahead of the launch, the makers built excitement with a playful social media interaction. On July 7, the official Toxic handle asked, “What do you call a forbidden love that only exists in stolen time?” Tagging Kiara Advani, the actress replied with a single word—”Tabaahi.” Zee Music Company then fueled anticipation further with a “Stay Tuned…” post, setting the stage for the music video’s grand premiere.
Composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, with Hindi lyrics by Raj Shekhar, Tabaahi has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The regional versions feature lyrics by Yogaraj Bhat (Kannada), Ramajogayya Sastry (Telugu), Vignesh Shivan (Tamil), and Rafeeq Ahammed (Malayalam), highlighting the film’s pan-Indian appeal.
Speaking about the song, Vishal Mishra said that Tabaahi is not a conventional love song but an expression of love in its most intense and consuming form. He added that Yash’s powerful screen presence inspired him to match the same emotional intensity through the music.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi.
Toxic is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
