M.S. Raju’s ‘Agadha’ Locks August 14 Release; Teaser Creates Massive Buzz

Veteran filmmaker M.S. Raju is gearing up to enthrall audiences with his ambitious mystic divine thriller Agadha, which is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and presented by Ajay KR, the film has been mounted on an impressive scale. The makers are confident that Agadha will offer audiences a refreshing theatrical experience with its unique blend of mythology, mystery, fantasy and suspense.
The recently released teaser has significantly boosted the film’s buzz, crossing 14 million views across digital platforms. Packed with stunning visuals, an eerie atmosphere, a captivating background score and intriguing glimpses into the story, the teaser has received an encouraging response from movie lovers and industry circles alike.
Sharing his excitement, M.S. Raju described Agadha as the most ambitious project of his career. He said the teaser unveils only a small part of the film’s universe, while the complete narrative unfolds as an immersive journey filled with divine elements, emotional depth, edge-of-the-seat thrills and spectacular visuals. The director also expressed confidence in the performances delivered by the entire cast.
Lead actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla, who plays Mahadevi, said the role is one of the most challenging and memorable characters she has portrayed. Shravan Reddy, reuniting with M.S. Raju after Dirty Hari, said audiences can expect several unexpected twists and a completely different cinematic experience.
The ensemble cast also includes Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, Sijju, Roshan, and Shreya Rani Reddy in pivotal roles.
