Red hot updates on Suriya-Sudha Konagara’s ‘Suriya 43’!

Actor Suriya recently won the National Award for acting for ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by Sudha Kongara. We already broke to you that he is going to reunite with the same maker for one of his upcoming projects tentatively called ‘Suriya 43’. The actor recently revealed in his fans meet that the shooting for Suriya 43 will commence in October.

Sudha Kongara has also confirmed that it will be a film based on true events. Suriya 43 will also be music composer GV Prakash’s milestone 100th movie. Reportedly, Dulquer Salmaan is said to join the star cast of the highly anticipated project. It will be DQ’s first ever collaboration with Suriya. On Friday, Dulquer was present at the pre-release event of his new release ‘King of Kotha’ in Express Avenue Mall, Chennai. He hinted at teaming up with Suriya at the event.

Meanwhile, the latest hot news is that Aditi Shankar is roped in as the female lead of Suriya 43. After her first two films, Aditi is now shooting for her third project under Vishnuvardhan’s direction. She has also signed a new film directed by ‘Raatsasan’ fame Ramkumar. Suriya 43 is said to be her fifth venture in Tamil cinema. This news is now doing rounds on the Internet.

On the work front, Suriya is presently shooting for ‘Kanguva’ directed by Siruthai Siva. He will start his ‘Vaadivaasal’ with director Vetrimaaran after the completion of Kanguva and Suriya 43. The actor recently confirmed that he is likely to join with Lokesh Kanagaraj and work with him in two back-to-back projects: ‘Rolex’ and ‘Irumbu Kai Maayavi’.
