The very names Suriya and Selvaraghavan said in the same breath spells, magic and the duo are working together for the first time for 'NGK' a political thriller which is almost 60 percent complete. Suriya fans have been grumbling that no updates are coming forth about this most awaited film.

Producer S.R. Prabhu has stated "Hey guys... September is coming to an end without much to update on 'NGK'. We can assure few updates in October". He has also added in Tamil that the after the coming "Guru Peryarchi" (movement of the planet Jupiter) the fans should be soft towards him on the internet when demanding updates. The film has Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the love interests of Suriya while Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.
