Madhavan's long awaited directorial debut movie 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect' is all set to release worldwide on July 1st in multiple languages. The hardworking star has swayed fans with his authentic getup of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan who he is playing in the film.

A video has gone viral showing Suriya visiting the sets of 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect' and his awestruck expression on seeing best buddy Maddy in character as Nambi is pure gold. Nambi Narayanan himself is also present and when introduced by Maddy to Suriya he stated that he respects him as an actor and showered praise on Suriya's father Sivakumar calling him an al time great actor.

Suriya is playing himself in 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect' while Shah Rukh Khan does the same in the Hindi version and the story unfolds with them interviewing the scientist wrongly accused and convicted of treason. The screenplay captures Nambi's long legal battle to prove his innocence.

'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect' has Simran in the role of Meena Narayanan with Sam CS scoring the music, Sirsha Ray handling the camera and Biijjith Bala the editing. The biopic is produced by Sarita Madhavan, R. Madhavan, Varghese Moolan and Vijay Moolan.
