Suriya to recreate his 19 year old character’s magic in ‘Suriya 43’? – Red hot updates

We already informed you that Suriya is busy filming for the final schedule of ‘Kanguva’ in Thailand now. Directed by Siruthai Siva, it is touted to be a magnum opus fantasy adventure film. Meanwhile, the actor is reuniting with director Sudha Kongara for ‘Suriya 43’ after their National Award-winning movie ‘Soorarai Pottru’.

The latest buzz in the showbiz is that Suriya will be recreating the magic of his 19-year-old character in Suriya 43. As per the reports, he will be seen as a college student in this film and it will be similar to his Michael Vasanth role in Mani Ratnam’s 2004 blockbuster ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’. His character is going to be intense in the upcoming venture and it is set against the political backdrop.

We hear that Suriya will undergo a rigorous physical transformation and shed some weight for the youngster role in Suriya 43. His young look will be mostly like his look in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ and ‘Soorarai Pottru’. The film will feature Nazriya Nazim, and Dulquer Salmaan in key roles with Bollywood actor Vijay Varma as the main villain.

Sudha Konagara has completed the Hindi version of ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Sources tell us that the shooting for Suriya 43 will commence in the second week of November. The movie has GV Prakash Kumar as the music composer and this will be his milestone 100th film. The venture is bankrolled by Suriya & Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment.
