In the run up to the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled on May 16 the names of Kollywood stars and their fans have been unnecessarily dragged by rumor mongers.
Till last week there were wide spread rumors that Ilayathalapathy Vijay and his official fan club has ordered the star's fans to work in favour of the main opposition party in Tamil Nadu in the upcoming elections. This was doing rounds until Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, the official fan club of the 'Theri' actor sent a clarification statement which said Vijay and his fan club has decided to maintain a neutral stand in this election.
Now actor Suriya's Agaram Foundation is being linked with the third front as a few members of the social organisation allegedly met one of the candidates of the alliance to offer support. But now the Agaram Foundation has officially clarified theit stand on 2016 Assembly Elections.
This is the message fro Agaram: " Few messages are getting circulated in social media on Agaram Foundation's support for a specific party for 2016 Assembly elections. We would like to make our stand clear that we are neutral and not supporting any specific party towards elections. Thanks"
