Hot buzz: ‘Suriya 44’ music director and cinematographer details revealed!

Suriya has been working on ‘Kanguva’, a magnum opus in the making for almost two years under Siruthai Siva’s direction. He was expected to start the ‘Purananooru’ project with director Sudha Kongara next but he surprised everyone with the announcement of ‘Suriya 44’ with director Karthik Subbaraj.

Exciting news has arrived that Suriya is set to begin shooting for this biggie in June mid, most probably on June 17th. Sources said that Santhosh Narayanan will be composing the musical score for ‘Suriya 44′ with Thirunavukkarasu of ’24’ and ‘Petta’ fame to take care of the camera work. The expectations among the fans have grown multifold after this buzz.

This news is now doing rounds on the internet. ‘Suriya 44’ is touted to be a period action adventure film. Director Karthik Subbaraj’s father confirmed in a recent interview that the filming will be commenced in June. On the work front, Suriya also has the magnum opus Karna project with the National Award-winning director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. ‘Kanguva’ is expected to hit the screens later this year.
